John Tyndall surveys an orgy of political self-destruction.

As I write these words I can imagine groans from some readers: “Oh no! Not more attacks, not more internal conflict!” Let me assure these people that I would far rather not be writing about such matters but be dealing with constructive politics. I had in fact planned to write an article addressing a topical national issue for this month when certain developments in the British National Party overtook things and called for urgent exposure. Developments of this kind become possible precisely because so many people prefer to turn their eyes away from them and wish away their consequences, thus leaving the field free for those of disruptive intent to get on with their business unhindered.

In July of this year I announced my intention to throw down a challenge to Nick Griffin for the BNP leadership. However, some time before this both his supporters and mine knew that this was on the cards. There has been a bitter internal conflict in the party ever since Mr. Griffin and his followers began it in the middle-to-late 1990s. It has continued to this day, fuelled by numerous policy changes which have been documented and commented upon in these columns.

To go back to the beginning, Nick Griffin began scheming to take over the leadership of the BNP almost from the moment he joined it in 1996. He was perfectly entitled to pursue this ambition: the party’s constitution provides for it. He began travelling around the country, often at his own invitation, speaking at meetings clearly with the intention of building up his following. I knew this was happening but I made no attempt whatever to stop him; he had the right to speak in this way just as the host branches had the right to accept him as a speaker. We were not then a totalitarian party in which people were gagged. I point these things out here because they relate importantly to things that will follow later.

Mr. Griffin succeeded in his takeover bid and I accepted it, albeit with grave private reservations. The members had delivered their verdict, and I acknowledged this in an article in the October 1999 issue of this journal, calling on everyone to work together for the party’s future.

Rift soon appears

It was less than a year before serious rifts began to occur in the party, beginning with a crisis of confidence among local leaders and members in the West Midlands over Mr. Griffin’s handling of party monies. The then party treasurer also became involved in this dispute. Mr. Griffin’s solution to this was summarily to expel both the treasurer and the two leading activists in the region (a husband-and-wife team) who had been at the centre of the conflict. All three had been keen Griffin supporters not long previously.

An emergency meeting was called in the Midlands in support of the couple, Sharron and Steve Edwards, and Mr. Griffin was forced to reinstate them. However, their disillusionment led them to leave the party not long afterwards – a sad loss.

I deliberately avoided any personal involvement in this dispute, though my sympathies were 100 per cent with those people who had been so disgustingly treated by Mr. Griffin.

I will not rake over the many other issues of division that have arisen since, for these have been adequately reported and analysed in these columns month to month. They have boiled down to this: many who had supported Mr. Griffin five years ago turned against him (and his partner in the leadership duo Tony Lecomber). Some of these, together with those who had never had confidence in the two in the first place, made representations to me that I should stand again against Mr. Griffin to retake the party leadership. I was willing to do so but believed that the timing was important and that the ground should be thoroughly prepared before the challenge was made. I am still of this view.

I have long believed that the Griffin leadership is backed by certain external forces hostile to the BNP who seek to keep it in place for their own purposes, and that to this end they are providing certain forms of clandestine support which help to entrench those in control. I make no assertions as to whether this is being done with the knowledge of Mr. Griffin and his associates; on that matter I could not back up any such claim with concrete evidence. It may well be that this support is being accepted quite innocently, but I am nevertheless convinced that it is being given. I cannot, for instance, fathom how otherwise the money could be found for the party’s monstrous wage bill. All this renders a counter-takeover a much less simple matter than some of my own supporters realise.

Character assassination

Central to the takeover in the first place, and to the continued entrenchment of the Griffin crowd, has been a deliberate campaign of character assassination of myself. The most prominent spokesman in this campaign has been Mr. Lecomber, though there is no doubt that it has the support of his chief. It is the oldest rule of warfare: identify the lead man in the enemy camp, and take him out. It was done at Hastings, and it was done at Trafalgar – though I am not so presumptuous as to draw any further parallels! The rule is applicable in conflicts great and small, and it holds good whatever the stature of the targeted person.

Against this character assassination I have two weapons of defence. One is my pen and the other my voice. Mr. Griffin quickly sought to neutralise the first weapon when he ordered a ban on the circulation of Spearhead through the party, ruling that it may not be displayed or sold at party meetings. This meant that the many newcomers to the party would have little opportunity of hearing my and my allies’ case through reading the magazine. I imposed no such ban on the Griffin lobby’s house journal Patriot in the run-up to the leadership contest in 1999, though its intent was obvious to all with eyes to see and brains to think with.

The attempt to gag me as a speaker first revealed itself when I was scheduled to appear at a meeting of Burnley BNP in August 2002. Up to that time I had never used any party platform to attack my opponents in the party nor indeed engage in any internally controversial talk. Despite this, a tremendous amount of arm-twisting was applied against the Burnley organiser to cancel my invitation. It failed. The organiser, Steve Smith, stood firm.

And what confronted me when I arrived at Burnley for the meeting? A mob of ‘Anti-Nazi’ League demonstrators! They had never been seen at a Burnley BNP meeting before and never have since. Need any more be said?

Gagging campaign spreads

At that Burnley meeting I won a number of new friends and supporters as a result of my speech; this clearly incensed Messrs. Griffin and Lecomber and they intensified their efforts to silence me around the country – sometimes succeeding, sometimes not. They also began a campaign to discourage organisers from inviting Richard Edmonds to speak, though he is one of the party’s very best speakers and invariably boosts meeting turnouts and collections. His crime has been, of course, that he is known to be a close friend and ally of mine!

We related in an earlier issue the case of a meeting at Clitheroe (Lancs.) to which I was invited last April. The party leadership, through its local regional organiser, ordered that I be kept away. The branch organiser would not be intimidated but reconstituted the meeting as just a ‘nationalist’ meeting and not an official BNP one. As a result, his branch, one of the best in the North of England, was ‘deregistered’ for several months and became effectively non-operational. The pretext for this was some small book-keeping irregularity by the treasurer but few were deceived as to the real cause. The branch has only recently been registered again. Several months were wasted in which that branch could have been actively promoting the party in the area in preparation for coming elections.

Shortly afterwards, Richard Edmonds was scheduled to speak at a meeting of the party’s Rochdale branch. Tremendous pressures were exerted to get his invitation cancelled – solely on the pretext of his association with me. The meeting went ahead, but Mr. Griffin subsequently had a tantrum, and the organiser was threatened that the branch would be closed down if the ‘crime’ were repeated.

Meanwhile, down south, one of the best London branches has been immobilised for some months. This is the Hillingdon branch, whose organiser is Ian Edward, another strong character who is not prepared to be anyone’s lackey. Mr. Edward had allowed the presence at one of his meetings of a person on the party’s ‘proscribed’ list. To those with a sense of proportion this was a small matter which could easily have been sorted out privately and quietly by means of a few words down the telephone, but no! Ian was immediately dismissed as organiser by Tony Lecomber, presumably on the nod from Mr. Griffin. Without his presence, the branch became non-functional as a BNP unit because no one among the members, loyal to him to the last man and woman, was interested in taking his place.

Organiser’s ‘crime’

In fact, everyone knows that the presence of the proscribed person at the meeting was just a convenient excuse for action against Ian Edward. A far bigger crime where he is concerned is his very cordial relations with Richard Edmonds and myself, and his regular invitations to us to speak. He is clearly on the ‘hit list’ and must go! No matter that Hillingdon BNP has achieved some excellent local government election results and is needed to make an important contribution to meeting the party’s target of 100 candidates in the next general election, expected next year. A whole season of productive local activity has been sacrificed on the altar of Mr. Lecomber’s paranoia.

Previous to this, another excellent local organiser became the target of a vendetta. This was John Cope, of the East Hertfordshire branch previously associated with the legendary Dave Bruce, who sadly died in 1998 – before his time. John Cope made a very brave effort to keep the East Herts. BNP going after Dave’s departure, and managed to do so admirably. The branch held some excellent meetings, at some of which I spoke. It continued a regular output of activity and eventually scored a triumph by getting a councillor, Ramon Johns, elected in 2003, due in no small measure to John Cope’s tireless work.

John, however, never made any secret about his unease over changes in party leadership and policy, and he became marked down for the ‘chop’. At a meeting in East London in March 2003 he spoke from the floor at question time severely criticising the recent glowing report in the party newspaper on a BNP election candidate who had spoken proudly of his black son-in-law and his two mixed-race grandchildren. The point here was not the candidate’s misfortune in having a race-mixing daughter and having to make the best of the situation; the point was the party newspaper editor’s decision to write it up as if it were something to celebrate!

Shortly after this meeting John fell foul of Tony Lecomber over another matter, and almost immediately he was dismissed as branch organiser despite his excellent record. The East Herts. BNP has managed to survive, but it would still be much the stronger with John Cope’s presence.

No doubt, Mr. Lecomber will have his own version of these conflicts, but at the end of the day the running of political parties is about personnel management: handling members the right way and making use of their services and talents, not alienating them and driving them off. The number of excellent activists who have become lost to the BNP because they were perceived to have ‘incorrect’ views about certain matters is incalculable.

Victimisation of a good activist

Others have stayed but have been marginalised because of their falling foul of either Mr. Lecomber, Mr. Griffin or both. There is Keith Axon, who did more than anyone else to build up the BNP in the West Midlands during its first 16 years. Utterly dedicated to the nationalist cause, he is right now willing to assist in party activities in his home city of Birmingham but has been given the cold shoulder by the local leadership, no doubt on orders from higher up. There are Steve Smith and Simon Bennett, the two main architects of the initial election successes of the party in Burnley (though others more recently have contributed in generous measure). They now have no roles in the running of the branch because they were squeezed out by Mr. Griffin’s people. They too got on the wrong side of the party leadership and had to go. Both are men of first-class drive and ability, which could still be at the disposal of the party had matters involving them been handled sensibly.

I know of many more who hold Messrs. Griffin and/or Lecomber in absolute contempt, but have been careful to avoid being overly outspoken so as not to risk dismissal and the consequent damage to their branches. They subordinate their personal feelings to the greater good of the party – if only everyone else was like them!

Running scared

Earlier this year it became clear to me that Messrs. Griffin and Lecomber were determined to effect a ban, even if only an unofficial one, on my speaking at party meetings around the country. They were anticipating my making a bid to recover the party leadership and their policy very obviously was to shut me up. Though, with one exception in London in March 2003, I had never used meetings to criticise the party leadership but spoken only about general national issues, the fact I am fairly capable on the platform and, as with Richard Edmonds (RE), attract good audiences and boost collections obviously scared them – if nothing else because I was able to undo the negative image of myself that they had contrived to create. I just had to be stopped, and so also did Richard Edmonds.

The reader may perhaps contrast this with the completely free reign given by me to Nick Griffin back in the 1990s to go around the country campaigning to build up his support for the leadership challenge that he was obviously planning. One of the key words Mr. Griffin now likes to use in the promotion of the party is ‘democracy’. As our experience should tell us, the loudest advocates of ‘democracy’ are often its worst defilers.

I decided that something had to be done about this speaking ban on RE and myself, and so I contacted a solicitor for advice. The advice was that as long as the two of us were bona fide party members the leadership had no right whatsoever to prevent us speaking, and that should either of us defy the ban and be punished (by expulsion perhaps) a civil court would have no hesitation in overruling this. This was communicated to Mr. Griffin in a solicitor’s letter, the most relevant parts of which were reproduced in our October issue.

The answer: suspension!

The letter, which would have been received by Mr. Griffin a short time earlier, was acted upon immediately. If as a bona fide party member I could not be prevented speaking, that could quickly be remedied by suspending me from membership! In a letter dated the 26th September from Mr. Lecomber, I was notified of that suspension and informed that I would be facing a whole new packet of disciplinary charges. The details of the charges were sent to me last month. I shall not comment on them here save to say that they were thirteen – yes, thirteen! — in number, and ten of them related to things I was alleged to have done during or before February this year. So why was I not charged over these matters a long time previously? The reader will have little difficulty in working out the answer. It was to provide a means to prevent me standing against Mr Griffin in a coming leadership election, but now also to silence me as a speaker. Highly convenient!

It will be recalled that barely more than a year previously I was charged and expelled over other alleged offences. I took the matter to law and won. Mr. Griffin was forced into an out-of-court settlement under which my expulsion was annulled and I was reinstated. The alternative was for the matter to go to court and much higher costs be incurred. I knew it was only a matter of time before they would try to ‘get’ me again. In fact, Mr. Lecomber lost no opportunity to tell people so.

On receiving and studying the latest batch of charges, I wondered how on earth they thought they would get away with these – knowing that, if expelled, I would again seek a review of the case in the courts and they would be faced with yet another expensive and time-consuming legal battle at no benefit whatever to the BNP.

Constitutional goalposts moved

The answer was provided in a general members’ bulletin that I found in my letter box early last month. The bulletin announced a large number of constitutional amendments. The most significant of these read as follows:-

‘Section 6, Discipline: Insert a new Sub-section 2: “Once the constitutionally defined internal disciplinary mechanisms of the party as outlined in this Section are exhausted in regard to the disciplinary procedures and proceedings, then the decision of the disciplinary tribunal is final and binding on the member concerned. As such, members (including those who have been disciplined or expelled) legally affirm and agree that they will not seek any external legal (or non-legal) review of any disciplinary tribunal decision or its procedures (JT’s emphasis). They also agree and affirm that they will accept the decision of any disciplinary tribunal as final and binding.”‘

It is blatantly obvious that this new clause is being inserted to prevent me seeking legal redress against any expulsion that may result from the hearing of the new charges against me, which has been fixed for December 4th.

Mr. Griffin knows very well that if I am expelled on his latest charges I shall be forced to do the same as last year and bring the matter to law. His latest constitutional manoeuvre is clearly intended to prevent this.

My own case aside, the move is also obviously aimed to give the party leadership licence in the future to kick out any other member upon Mr. Griffin’s personal whim if that member happens to meet with his disapproval. All that would be needed would be another kangaroo court appointed by Mr. Griffin or on his authority, which would be comprised of lackeys who could be relied upon to deliver the verdict that was ordered, and against which the victim would have no legal redress!

It is somewhat amusing in the quoted constitutional amendment is the passage which says that members … “will legally affirm and agree…” In what way agree? Perhaps when sitting in a disused warehouse tied to a chair, with electrodes being held close to their most sensitive parts!

New clause legal non-starter

I quickly made contact with a solicitor to obtain his opinion of the legality of this latest constitutional clause. He confirmed my opinion that legally it was a non-starter, and would not survive scrutiny by the courts. So just what is Mr. Griffin’s purpose in introducing it? Has the man gone completely off his head? Does he want another legal battle, almost certain to be more expensive than the last one – which incidentally cost the BNP over £6,000 and the cause of nationalism as a whole over £12,000? Or is there some other agenda here, not obvious at the time of writing? Coming events will perhaps provide a clue.

One thing that is clear is that during the months pending a court verdict overruling my expected expulsion I will be deprived of my rights as a party member and thus not able to attend party functions at which I can make myself known to other members and solicit their support. Highly convenient to Mr. Griffin!

So, being under suspension I have to find other means of reaching party members with the spoken word. A series of meetings have been set up to take place in Bradford, Hillingdon (North West London), Lincoln and North Buckinghamshire, all of these promoted under auspices other than those of the BNP. The Bradford meeting was reported in last month’s issue, the Hillingdon one elsewhere in this issue. The Lincoln and North Bucks. meetings will be taking place as the new issue is at the printers, and readers will be informed of them subsequently. More meetings will follow in the new year.

I have given most of the past 22 years of my life to the BNP. I deeply resent having to travel around the country speaking at meetings which should be BNP ones but cannot be because of these ridiculous prohibitions. And I think I speak for others who have put and are putting much hard work into organising and promoting the meetings, which they too wish they were doing on behalf of the BNP and for the benefit of the BNP.

Lecomber rampage continues

And here again the maniacal rampage of Tony Lecomber continues. He is now trying to run Hillingdon organiser Ian Edward, one of the BNP’s best, out of the party – the latest pretext being his role in promoting the Hillingdon meeting on the 7th November. Ian is now being threatened over the alleged use of the party’s local membership list to circularise people about that meeting, the Data Protection Act being invoked.

Meanwhile Mr. Lecomber is threatening the organiser of the Lincoln meeting, Mick Holmes, in a similar way. Mick has told me that our Group Development and Regulation Officer is frantically ringing members in the Lincolnshire and East Midlands areas urging them to boycott the meeting, making the absurd allegation that it is an ‘anti-BNP’ meeting. As these words are written we do not know what will be the results of his sabotage campaign.

And the cause of all of this? There are differences within our party over matters of leadership and policy. The proper way to resolve these differences is to have a leadership election conducted on a level playing field and according to the democratic traditions of this country, and that means that the respective candidates in that election should have the facility and freedom to address party members to present their cases. All this was accorded to Nick Griffin when he challenged me in 1999. Why can the same rules not operate again?

Party being crippled

Before ending, we should step back for a moment and look at the broader picture. The party has set itself the target of contesting 100 parliamentary seats in the next general election. This is an ambitious undertaking but one which can be achieved if all are pulling together and all the party’s skills and resources are focused on the objective.

Yet what do we have? We have a major party official – probably its effective number-two man (some would even say number one!) – running around like a bull in a china shop antagonising almost everybody in sight, imposing bans, suspensions and prohibitions in the manner of a Lord High Executioner; closing down, or causing to be closed down, important branches whose input into the coming general election is a vital one. We have first-class nationalists, able to make great contributions to the party’s growth, sidelined in petty vendettas because they do not genuflect to the party leadership in the way it is thought they should do. We have yet more good nationalists who have been exiled from the BNP for the crime of dissent or have exiled themselves because they cannot stand the stink within. And now we have a re-run of the vicious and hysterical action to railroad me out of the party of which I was the leading founder, an action that ended in fiasco last year and cost the party money that could have been spent on deposits for 12 parliamentary election candidates or heaven knows how many thousands of pieces of valuable promotional literature. Not only is this re-run likely to cost yet more precious money but it, together with all the other witch hunts currently being conducted, costs priceless man-hours of time that could otherwise be given to constructive projects for party development.

One has to ask of these people: do they seriously want the BNP to succeed and prosper? Or do they want to wreck it? Whether the latter is their intention or not, it is certainly going to be the consequence – if they are not stopped very soon!

Just 24 hours after party treasurer David Hannam assured the membership that the accounts would be submitted on time (see below), the electoral commission confirms what most lucid nationalists expected – the accounts were late yet again.

“ All legally-required Statement of Accounts are submitted on time.”

The above assertion was included in Mr Hannam’s appeal email, despite the fact that he must’ve known that the accounts had not been submitted on time. Making a mockery of the party’s membership.

Nick Griffin has brought disgrace upon the BNP yet again. There is only one way that you can change this.

Guest Post by ‘Down With Big Brother’

Now, it strikes me that if the future of Nationalism and the BNP is to truly achieve its potential, it needs to become more community orientated.

The area where the BNP is most under utilised is in making connections within industries and the strong bond with the workers of Britain that connections make. I believe that the Party, once it is reformed, needs to contain a department specifically to garner support amongst Britain’s hard-pressed industrial workers.

I know of the links between the Solidarity Union and the party, but from what I can see this arrangement is wholly inadequate. With the employment of spouses, the leadership of the union being involved in a rival political party, cronyism and general dodgy behavior in its relationship to the current BNP leadership (a leadership in my opinion that has had its day and is leading the BNP to oblivion).

I am not talking about unions in this piece, but a dedicated party department. After all, it is the working man/woman and Britain’s declining industry that should form the lifeblood of the nation. Not solely the financial service sector. A sector that essentially justifies its existance by preying on the people. Look at the mess our reliance on the banks have got us into. The only way to get out of the current financial mess is through real industry.

Nationalism needs to be grassroots and firmly embedded into the communities of Britain.

This hypothetical ’industrial relations department’ that I talk of, could play an invaluable role in spreading the message. Not only bringing in the votes, but also bringing in wealth and jobs into hard-pressed indigenous communities. We Nationalists need to start offering practical solutions. We know the country’s in deep trouble, so what solutions are we to propose? Here are some examples, I hope it highlights my point:

1. Fishing and related industries…..The department would send representatives to places such as Grimsby. We begin to make inroads into the trade by highlighting the Party policy and state “We will bring back Britains traditional fishing grounds and it will be our boats fishing these waters, it will bring jobs and prosperity for your community. It will safeguard your childrens future, BUT we need your support”. We believe never to court globalised businesses, but we could get massive support if we begin to make inroads with independant British firms. Whether that be financial support (afterall it will be these companys that benefit from a Nationalist government) or the formation of Nationalist workers collectives. Our support could become SOLID in these communities. Strongholds even. From top to bottom, from factory worker to company director. From housewife to teenager. Not just community, but VOTES.

2. Coal…..I know that it would be financially expensive to open mines again, but it is in the national interest to at least look at how it could be done. My personal opinion is that firstly cheap coal would be essential for our steel industry, and most importantly, to make synthetic oil. Something that within the coming years could be a HUGE export industry. The trades department as above would go to these areas and highlight we as Nationalists are offering the solutions to your future prosperity. Join us!! Nationalist strongholds could be formed nationwide. Amongst the people that matter. Areas that are dead on their feet could thrive again. There is potential for massive amounts of jobs in the future.

We highlight apprenticeships for voters’ children. Jobs and training. The people need to be encouraged to get involved. Which in turn begins to reforge our traditional national identity and communities. This process and hypothetical department would repeat the process and set up in areas such as agriculture and all its associated trades. There are countless more different industrial areas. We say to the farmers you will be given a fair price for milk at the supermarkets. We take a firm hand with the supermarkets and give the ultimatum: “if you do not tow the line you will no longer trade in Britain”. Point being that we show the workers we are on their side.

This message and these community links with trade and industry will not happen without the party forging these links. It needs a dedicated department. Communities need to be informed, links to the party forged and just like a snowball the Nationalist industrial message grows amongst the people of the country.

I hope I have come across clearly in showing this massively under utilised area of potential growth. What do other forum users think?

It is with a heavy heart that I write this post, and it is a reflection upon the democratic principles of Mr Griffin and his cohorts.

The venue owners where the meeting was to be held in Salisbury this evening have cancelled at lunchtime today, as someone – and we have a good idea of the one or two names it could be from the Griffin cabal – has emailed them to advise them that we are holding a BNP meeting.

I have appealed and argued that this is a private meeting, set up and paid for by myself, and is not a BNP meeting, although it is a meeting about the British National Party. My appeals have been to no avail, and the venue owners have refused our attendance.

Please would you circulate this news as widely as possible, as I am unable, in this short notice, to advise those who may be attending. May I apologise to those members who may have a wasted journey this evening, but this happening is not any fault of mine or anyone who was going to speak at the meetings.

The blame lies purely at the feet of Griffin and his thugs, and if this is Griffin’s idea of democracy it really is little wonder why he is hated by the general public, and disliked by members. Those same members who are bleeding, crying and gasping for the first breaths of winds of change to sweep over this bankrupted Party.

The media is torn between their duty of informing the public and their wanting to keep sensitive information quiet, however, information does come out in bits and we can piece it together to build up a picture of what is really going on. This is reminiscent of the media cover ups of the rise of Hitler in what was a previous policy of appeasement. We also have warnings that we should heed from highly respected people. We were warned by Vladimir Bukovsky, former Soviet dissident who spent twelve years in psychiatric units, published of secret documents from the Kremlin and must start to take notice. He has warned that the EU is a new dictatorial Soviet Union is of great importance. (1)

What I say to people is neither believe the media nor take my word for it. Check for yourselves — there is much information on the Internet. People can not defend against something if they do not know it is happening.

What is really happening?

The authorities through Europe have changed sides and are surrendering the continent to islam from a mixture of motives from cowardice, emasculation and hate for the people and traditions. The practical effects are alarming!

Throughout Europe there is a battle for possession of the Continent. This is against European people and also Jewish communities. There are almost continuous riots in France and vicious attacks on white and Jewish people which the media tries to hide

In Malmo, Sweden young white women are hunted down and raped by Muslims and it is no longer safe for Jewish people to go out in identifying clothes, but the authorities try to suppress knowledge of this. The Daily Express (London) of 26 February 2009 reported that “British Muslims” were acting as snipers and bomb-makers killing our troops in Afghanistan. Army eavesdropping operations have heard British accents among Taliban forces.

In Luton, England, the Muslims Against Crusades group protested against the parade of local regiment The Royal Anglians, or “The Poachers”, on their return from Iraq calling them “murderers”! English people ptotested but the police protected the Muslims.(2)

During the Muslim-Socialist protests against Israel’s raids on Gaza of January 2009, protesters throughout Europe and in London openly chanted “Jews to the gas” while the police looked on.

Cherie Blair’s half sister Lauren incited Muslims against Jewish people in Blackburn in a “Free Gazza” demo in January 2009 and the police covered it up. (3)

At a demonstration in Tower Hamlets in the East End of London on 27 June 2010 demagogic politician George Galloway threatened violence. He warned of 10,000 dead bodies.

To prevent Geert Wilders speaking at the House of Lords, Muslim peer Lord Ahmed threatened to bring 10,000 Muslim protesters outside the Lords. The figure 10,000 is highly significant in the Koran. The army of the Muslims that conquered Mecca without any blood shed were 10,000 men as we are told in the book of “Muhammad the Prophet” by Maulana Muhammad Ali, pages 128-129).

Incidentally, Galloway’s publishing operation, Asian Voice was funded by the Pakistani government by £600,000 pounds? (3)

The elites submitted to Saudi when they abandoned the bribery investigation into the arms deal between Saudi Arabia and BAE systems because of an explicit threat made by the Saudi authorities. Britain’s former ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, explained that if the case continued, “British lives on British streets” would be at risk.

What is behind the surrender? Well, decadence and, of course, oil and money!
Gordon Brown and Lord Mandelson visited Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states in November 2008. They asked for billions to be put into the International Monetary Fund and, as Mandelson later admitted, offered Saudis some influence over Britain and the West. The Saudi regime is the motor behind the Islamisation of the West as their Wahhabi form of Islam is making Islam dominant in the world by spreading Wahhabi mosques, preachers and educational institutions to promote holy war and convert thousands of British Muslims.

Barclays Bank has had almost £6 billion invested from Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Brown is to make London the global centre of Islamic banking and Britain’s major banks are accepting Sharia finance. Sharia is a project for Islamicising society. Alistair Darling, Chancellor of the Exchequer, advocates Sharia finance.

Islamist ideas are spread through Islamic study centres attached to our universities. Professor Anthony Glees revealed that eight universities — including Oxford and Cambridge — have received over £233.5 million from Saudi sources since 1995.

The EU uses social engineering techniques they studied in Russia in 2005 when the Audio Visual Observatory of the European Council held a symposium in Moscow.

Benita Ferrero Waldner, European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy, in her speech entitled “Intercultural dialogue: the media’s role”, told selected media representatives from across Europe: “Freedom of expression is central to the values and traditions of Europe. But its preservation depends on responsible behaviours by individuals. By extension, we do not believe the media should be regulated from outside, but rather that you find ways to regulate yourselves.

“In considering the question of self-regulation, I would also ask you to think about the need for monitoring from within your own professional bodies. I am convinced that will have a significant impact… We will identify a nucleus of journalists and analysts around which to develop a structured, sustainable system of information exchange and publication focused on North–South understanding.”

She said, “Europeans know from bitter experience the gravity of the threat racism and xenophobia represent. Indeed, the European Union was born out of the cataclysm of intolerance that engulfed twentieth-century Europe. Our task has been … minimising hatred and maximising reason. And today the European Union stands as a testimony to Europe’s religious, linguistic and cultural diversity. We are a community of values, united by our diversity and our determination to prevent such a threat from overwhelming us again.
… That is why we have set up the Monitoring Centre and why we are continually fighting for equality and tolerance.”

The destruction of Western Europe is taking place through mass immigration and the imposition of totalitarian laws and bureaucratic Human Rights Commissions to oppress dissident patriots. Only a small minority of the Muslim community is involved in street fighting, but the entire community wishes to see Islamic ways dominate the capital cities of Europe.

The World Culture Forum Alliance, founded by the Ford Foundation, is linked to the US Council on Foreign Relations and the CIA, as well as the EU, the European Council and UNESCO. They have admitted they are using propaganda and withholding certain news to manage and control us.

The Anna Lindh Foundation was founded by the Arab League, the EU, the European Council and UNESCO. Traugott Schoefthaler, head of the Anna Lindh Foundation, said: “We will arrange giant Muslim Youth Festivals — like the ‘Images of the Middle East’, which lasted six weeks in 2006 in Denmark.

“We will tackle stereotypes and prejudices and ignorance and change the daily ‘news journalism’ to portray every-day life of ordinary people, which can create identification and fascination — and intercultural understanding. We will tackle our stereotypic images of people from foreign cultures and make new experiments with pictures in public places, in the media and advertising.

“And we will have common projects with people from other cultures. We will develop the intercultural skills of journalists, school pupils and artists and exchange people from these groups with (Muslim) colleagues. We will manage art and cultural productions. We will train the school teachers and influence their education to be multicultural.

“And we will influence the curricula of the schools to become multicultural by means of revision of existing textbooks and educational materials.”

In 1995, EU leaders made a contract, known as the Barcelona Agreement, with the leaders of the countries surrounding the Mediterranean. Its purpose is to ensure mass immigration from North Africa into the EU that will destroy our civilisations in Western Europe. This has been kept from the people even though it will become effective in 2010. Some excerpts will show what we are not being told. This has now blossemed into The European-mediterranean Agreement.

The EU intends to force its subject peoples to respect Islam which means persecuting any who oppose EU sponsored invasion. We are to obey the dictates of multiculturalism to promote tolerance between different ethnic groups in Europe. This targets Europeans, while other groups are allowed their own separate development. There is to be a one-sided campaign against ‘racism’, ‘xenophobia’ and ‘intolerance’. It is meant to be applicable to whites but not other ethnic groups.

There is to be more Muslim influence on radio, television, newspapers and magazines. A youth exchange programme is to bring about cooperation between future Euro-Mediterranean generations as stipulated in the Barcelona Declaration adopted at the Euro-Mediterranean Conference.

Our respective European religions and cultures are devalued ready for the implementation of Islamic mores. The populations of the nine Muslim countries will be given free movement of goods, services, capital and people into Europe in return for political and economic changes. Association agreements have been made with all partner countries except Syria (Euro-Mediterranean Foreign Minister Conference in Naples held on 2–3.12.2003). Negotiations for Turkish EU entrance began in 2005. When the 75 million Turks join, Jewish people will be openly attacked in the streets and the EU police will not be able to control it.

Less than a month after 9/11 the EU rulers again surrendered to Islam: “The ministers declined as both dangerous and unfounded any connection between terror and the Arab and Muslim world. In this context the importance of the Barcelona Process was emphasised by everybody as a suitable and recognised instrument to promote a dialogue between equal partners and civilisations. The ministers agreed to work on deepening the ongoing dialogue between the cultures and civilisations, especially wanting to direct attention towards youth, education, and the media.”

Also read the speech by the head of the “Danish Centre for Culture and Development” (CKD) — run by the Danish Foreign Ministry — Olaf Gerlach Hansen, in Rabat, Morocco, 13 June 2005.

The European Union and the European Council plan to destroy our identity: “Cultural policy must avoid the popular distinction between ‘them’ and ‘us’, even mentioning ‘the other’ , as this opens the gate for imposing collective identity on the individual.” Yet they impose the collective identity “European” on all the diverse nations of Europe!

The EU has made cooperation agreements with the Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, which aims — according to article 5a of its charter — to spread Muslim ways of thinking and living in the entire world (Charter of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization— ISESCO).

Our politicians pretend that we and Islam have shared goals. Margaret Beckett, when British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, told Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten on the 7July 2006: “Our obligation to the values that mean most to us — freedom, tolerance and justice — has grown even stronger and deeper since the London bombs. So has our relationship with the Islamic world, which also shares our common ideals, today.”

The UN is no longer what it was set up to be. The Durban conference of 2005 lifted the veil on reality. The Conference against Racism was meant to pillory whites for crimes of slavery and colonialism but became a fest of anti- Jewishness from Muslim countries.
Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga admitted in the Italian paper Corriere della Sera in 2008, that in the 1970s, the Italian government allowed Arab terrorist groups freedom of movement in the country in exchange for immunity from attacks.

The government of Prime Minister Aldo Moro reached a “secret non-belligerence pact between the Italian state and Palestinian resistance organisations, including terrorist groups. Moro designed the terms of the agreement with Arab terrorists, Cossiga said. “The terms of the agreement were that the Palestinian organisations could even maintain armed bases of operation in the country, and they had freedom of entry and exit without being subject to normal police controls, because they were ‘handled’ by the secret services.”

The security services have operated a similar deal in Britain. On 22 August 1998, the newspaper Al Sharq Al Awsat quoted Omar Bakri: “I work here in accordance with the covenant of peace which I made with the British government when I got (political) asylum.”

This covenant allowed Muslim extremists to plan attacks abroad and develop terror networks here. In 1999 it was reported that each year approximately 2,000 Muslims were trained about Holy War at camps in Britain run by Bakri’s organisation al-Muhajiroun.

In Birmingham and London trainees were instructed in hand-to-hand combat and survival skills. They were sent for further military training in Yemen and Afghanistan. After the London bombings, The Times reported that “a dozen members” of Al-Muhajiroun “have taken part in suicide bombings or have become close to Al-Qaeda and its support network.” He was protected here for 20 years.

In January 2007 Bakri revealed that Islamist extremists were infiltrating the police and other public sector organisations. The Daily Mail exposed eight members of al-Qaeda in the police.
MI5 investigate what the Government instructs them to investigate and ignore what the Government wants them to ignore.

As far back as 4 May 2003, The Sunday Telegraph’s Alasdair Palmer wrote: “Britain has become the headquarters of choice for extremist Islamic preachers, who now have a network of organisations dedicated to sowing pure hatred: hatred of the West, of democracy, and of the values of tolerance and freedom — the very values that give them the freedom to operate here: ‘Your task against the infidel,’ says one video, ‘is to kill their children, take their women, destroy their homes.’”

From 11 September 2001 to the end of March 2008, British authorities arrested 1,471 Muslims for terrorism-related offences. Yet just six months later, The Daily Mail reported the security services were scaling down checks on Muslim terrorists.
In January 2009, the head of domestic security service MI5 revealed that 2,000 people in Britain were involved with Islamist terrorist plots and many more support terrorism through fundraising and propaganda.

Commander Shaun Sawyer of Scotland Yard’s counterterrorism command gave the okay to Muslim extremists when he told the Muslim Safety Forum that security services would investigate “far right” groups who could be planning a terrorist “spectacular” to stoke up racial tensions,” he said.
This focus on “far-right” followed an order to the police to “go easy” on Muslim terrorists.

The London bombings of 9/5 resulted from British security services allowing the development of terror networks throughout Britain. A threat assessment by the Joint Terrorist Analysis Centre a mere month earlier stated: “There was no group with current intent and capability” to commit a terrorist attack in Britain.

Colin Cramphorne, chief constable of West Yorkshire from 2002 until his death in 2006, was mocked for warning that extremist cells ran training camps in national parks, such as the Yorkshire Dales.

It was known that Abu Qatada was running the al Qaeda cells in Spain and Germany from London. The two terrorists who bombed Mike’s Place in Tel Aviv were Muslims with British passports.

Not long after 9/11, the Prime Minister’s office published an analysis of terrorism that showed there was evidence available: “Al Qaeda retains the capability and the will to make further attacks on the US and its allies including the United Kingdom… other cells like those who carried out the tasks must be assumed to exist … al Qaeda functions on its own and through a network of other terrorist organisations. These include Egyptian Islamic Jihad and other North African Islamic extremist terrorist groups, and a number of other Jihadi groups in other countries including the Sudan, the Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan and India. Al Qaeda also maintains cells and personnel in a number of other countries.”

On its website, the Egyptian State Information Service announced in its article “Call to Combat Terrorism,” that Britain harboured seven of the 14 most wanted terrorists. These included one who plotted the failed assassination of the Egyptian prime minister.

In August 2006, the US government put the highest terrorism alert ever for commercial flights from Britain to US after “the liquid terror” attack was foiled.

Michael Chertoff, Homeland Securities Secretary, said that this “plot may indeed be suggestive of Al-Qaeda, but its real incubator is the atmosphere of Londonistan: the political correctness of Britain that keeps British officials from confronting the jihad ideology that spreads in British mosques and Islamic schools.”

A Muslim school in London famously taught that Christian and Jewish people are “pigs. This is what the EU is importing into Europe.

We are faced with a new beginning and must seize the opportunity. This means leaving the Holocaust Denial era of the party behind and, by examining what is going on around us, as in this article, start discussions with Jewish communities for our mutual defence against this EU-Muslim attack on our two peoples. The BNP have a couple of hundred Jewish members so there are possibilities. I don’t think either of us will survive in Europe the way things are going and with 75 million Turks joining the EU authorities will not be able to control Muslim extremists which is why we must organise mutual defence as I have shown.

Dear Nick Griffin,

Re your newsletter. Subject “Are you of sound mind? What utter purile rubbish you are writing to us of late”.

Of course “One Million Nationalists” are not banned from Buckingham Palace it’s
ONLY YOU!! – NO ONE ELSE!! For a start your lady wife and Andrew Brons were not banned and neither has anyone else in the BNP been stupid enough to get themselves banned that I know of.

I dont know who is advising you now, but hiring Jim Dowson – you know the man with the overpriced laptops and his old banger ad’lorries and promoting him within the Party way beyond his abilities, may well be only an example of foolishness.

However, your callous public demonstration of contempt for the high court judges while acting as representative of the whole BNP by failing to meet the deadlines imposed, coupled with your ongoing refusal to even properly pay the agreed sum to Michaela Mackenzie despite pledging to do so. Your writings utterly publically denigrating Simon Bennet, speaks not only of a ‘freaky schizophrenic personality’ but also of a crass unstable irresponsibility.

The spate of suspensions – backed up by yourself – of so many talented, skillful and dedicated organisers and activists whose alledged crimes still remain undisclosed, but in the absence of fact are rumored to have been questions raised by those organisers about allegations of endemic corruption at the very heart of the BNP brought about by its lack of financial transparency which in turn has brought the British National Party into even more disrepute. People are actually asking me “If Griffin ever did get real power – like in charge of armed police – how long to wait before another ‘Night of the long knives’ ?” – talk about the commissioners of the EUSSR!!

The latest fiasco about the simple job of your representing the BNP at the Palace has lead me to conclude that it must be, after all, your deliberate intention and as yet undisclosed agenda, to bankrupt and destroy the British National Party.

Sadly, its the only credible answer that I can truthfully come up with when on the streets of Padstow – the same streets by the way, in which only a few months ago, our activist teams tirelessly canvassed and sung your praises – now to my utter shame, people I meet, speak of you and actually regard you as being “a completely selfish and incompetent pratt” and as “My Leader” surely we must agree that you have become a “total liability to the cause of British Nationalism” altogether.

I admit that since taking on and defending on the doorstep, the catalogue of serial errors, the many instances of gross incompetance and dreadful misjudgements for which you are ultimately responsible, and after absorbing all the derisery remarks about you on those doorsteps I now find I have to fully agree with them. Oh I admit – you are streetwise, well educated, well turned out, and not lacking in charm and leadership when your cause is self-serving – and you certainly did have me fooled. I would never have guessed you could turn out to be such a loser.

So ,what’s to be done? Who shall I blame for bankrupting and ruining a Party, which only a few months ago was on the up-and-up, and of which I was once so proud to publicly display my membership of?

Wasn’t it Colleridge who wrote the lines…
Ah ! well a-day ! what evil looks had I from old and young !
Instead of the cross, the Albatross about my neck was hung.

Well as far as I am concerned, you and your little gang of favoured “elites” are now the ‘Albatross’ hanging around the neck not only of the BNP but of the whole British Nationalist movement. Your very presence in absolutely any political party or organisation would be enough to ternish any reputation for integrity – that is assuming it had any to begin with.

And so just as in the rhyme – “The shipmates in their sore distress would fain throw the whole guilt on the ancient mariner: and in sign whereof they hang the dead sea-bird round his neck”. – I, in turn, blame you.

I shall not be renewing my gold BNP membership this year. It would be pointless – I would find myself kicked out within a week, I need a political leader I can respect and be proud to serve with – not some idiot who shoots himself in the foot every other week, and surrounds himself with greedy sycophants and nodding dogs.

In my honest opinion, – and yes, outside of your Nu-BNP we can still voice one of those – For whatever reason it eventually transpires, you are at the root of the BNPs public humilliation, its growing disrepute and financial mismanagement allegations.

Yours truly

Bob Smart.
