On Tuesday 20th July Nick Griffin wrote a tissue of lies about me on the party website. I am now exercising my right of reply and will deal with them in the same order.

The 6000 enquiry packs he speaks of was actually less than 600. They were not dumped on a pavement, neither were they lost or destroyed. Moreover, the person responsible for this was Lee Hancock , not me. Jim ‘Industry Expert’ and ‘Staff Manager’ Dowson had failed to recognise a simple training need in that Lee had never before worked in a mass mailing environment and hadn’t received instruction on how to administer PPI. The matter was resolved simply and without issue when I visited the main sorting office in Gloucester to retrieve the mail and was told that it had actually been processed and delivered to the intended recipients and all we needed to do was docket them retrospectively. Jennie Noble was with me at the time and can confirm the truth of it.

Simon Darby did not negotiate a successful settlement with Donna and Lee Hancock. That was done by Eddy Butler.

Griffin states that “Michaela Mackenzie has a very long track record of suing for wrongful dismissal, and knew how to manipulate things to exploit our lack of experience in such matters.” My ‘very long track record’ consists of one instance when in 1989 I sued my employer, the BBC, for constructive dismissal. My boss, the then Head of the Natural History Unit, had submitted two sets of totally fraudulent expenses claims amounting to a considerable sum of money. Since I was responsible for authorising expenditure in the Natural History Unit, and since the salaries of high earning individuals were subject to independent audit, I was not going to place myself in a position whereby I could be accused of aiding and abetting theft. I refused to sign his expenses claims and he made my life hell as a result. You see, I have this strange aversion to thieves, liars and financial skullduggery. I will not, under any circumstances, condone theft or fraud. The BBC settled out of court and the Head of the Natural History Unit was quietly demoted to Producer within a few short weeks, the Head of Finance having confirmed that the expense claims in question were indeed fraudulent.

I have never made a secret of this, in fact, some of you may remember me speaking about it at the RWB in front of Nick Griffin, long before I was ever employed by the party. So when Nick Griffin claims that ‘we found out too late’ he is being, shall we say, less than honest.

With regard to his statement that I exploited ‘our lack of experience in these matters’, I can confirm that the party management were indeed woefully lacking in experience. I offered them the benefit of my advice over their proposed sacking of Donna Hancock and they chose to ignore it. Nick Griffin preferred to listen to his catering salesman rather than an experienced manager with a knowledge of employment law. He ended up in an employment tribunal court because Jim Dowson is not a professional manager and gave him unsound advice. Had Dowson ever managed staff before, he would have been aware that there is a procedure to be followed before employees of 12 months or more service can be dismissed.

As for my being a ‘disaster’ when working in an office, all I can say is that I worked for 15 years as a senior manager in a national publishing company, managing 25 staff and running a call centre, field and telesales teams and a design studio. I have a memo from the Chief Operating Officer congratulating me on making a £2 million profit in the financial year 2005-2006 and stating that I had produced ‘arguably the most successful publication of its type in Europe.’

If that’s Griffin’s idea of a disaster, then I’m at a loss to know what one must do to be deemed a ‘success’.

If that’s Griffin’s idea of a ‘disaster’ why did he, on two occasions (December 2009 and June 2010), offer to fully reinstate me?

Like the party’s accounts, it just doesn’t add up, does it?

Any further defamation from Mr. Griffin and I will be be reluctantly forced to publish, in my defence, my witness statement as submitted to the tribunal judges, in its entirety. Members will then be fully informed of the extent of the chaos in both the Belfast and Stroud offices as a result of Mr. Dowson’s ‘expertise’.

This is Paul Golding.

Paul is the British National Party’s Director of Communications. He is also the Director of Publicity, the head of Media and Public Relations, and he is now the Director of Internet Operations which include the main BNP website, Email begging letters as well as the two hate blogs (Eddy Butler Exposed & BNP Truth Chronicles).

Paul is currently taking elocution lessons, paid for by the party and being promoted to a whole range of glamorous positions by Jim Dowson & Nick Griffin. He is also Jim Dowson’s number one poodle and receives commission on every penny that the website raises.

Paul is also “alleged” to be the man responsible for the 6,000 hate-mail leaflets sent to every residential and business address in my home town, urging my entire community to contact social services and report me for a whole array of non existent “alleged” crimes, in the hope that my children would be taken into care.

Aside from Paul’s own short-comings, questions need to be asked as to why on earth this man is elevated into such positions by the current leadership. Paul was responsible along with Jim Dowson for dreaming up the Marmite Stunt that was given the seal of approval by Nick Griffin.

As the following recordings will reveal, Paul Golding is hardly “Communications, Publicity or Media material, let’s hope he is not the one being groomed to be our next leader;

Recording 1

[See post to watch Flash video]

Recording 2

[See post to watch Flash video]

What these recordings reveal (aside from the fact that Jim and Paul think the members are all “Plebs”), is that Nick Griffin and Jim Dowson thought the Marmite / Unilever Copyright Infringement was “Brilliant”. No-one knows the true cost of this “brilliance”, but I suspect the figure of £170,000 being suggested elsewhere would be quite accurate.

This incident was one of many, many such disasters I was unfortunate enough to have to witness in my three years as webmaster for the party. Most were swept under the carpet, but all were avoidable. My advice was always ignored.

It was as if Jim and Nick were on a suicide mission as I could not believe some of the decisions being made were the actions of “Industry Experts”, Leaders, or even half sane people. It was because of my many objections to Jim Dowson’s un-professionalism and down right stupidity that my fate was sealed a long time ago.

The website / election saga was the pinnacle of an eighteen month battle with Jim Dowson and Nick Griffin that was being played out behind closed doors, and I had hoped would remain behind closed doors.

Transcript of First conversation between Paul Golding and Simon Bennett:-

Paul: Simon you Muppet.

Simon: Yes you w****r.

Paul: (Laughs) How’s it going.

Simon: Err yeah not bad. Has, Has Arthur got hold of you? He’s been trying to get hold of you.

Paul: No.

Simon: Err, erm I thought this video we…. I mean I’ve got major concerns with it, I think Arthur has as well, err I thought it was going to be like a little tiny jar or something on the desk or a quick second frame. I mean that’s a blatant breach of f*****g copyright what you’ve done in that video.

Paul: No, nah Nick, Nick and Jim think it’s brilliant.

Simon: Hmmm.

Paul: F**k it, if they want to p**s and whinge, we’ll just take it down tomorrow.

Simon: Err yeah.

Paul: What we’re trying to do is trigger the media into, into, into a big hoo-ha, so that everyone starts thinking oooh the BNP broadcast, ooh get us in the papers, it’s get…triggering attention.

Simon: Yeah (yawns).

Paul: It’s trying to get an increased viewership.

Simon: Right ok.

Paul: Because when the real one goes, when the real one goes out, it’ll just be a p**stake at the end.

Simon: Yeah

Paul: I’ll, I’ll tell you what just as a, a double check though I’ll ring Nick straight away and I’ll, I’ll, I’ll tell him, you know, are you sure with the copyright and stuff. Thing is we’re f****d anyway aren’t we, we’ve got 15 minutes until the broadcast goes out.

Simon: (Laughs) Yeah I know. I mean it, it’s pretty much ready to go all I got to do is f*****g switch it over. But I, I was just….because, I thought it was it was going to be, you know, an edited jar of marmite, so it looks like marmite but it’s not. I didn’t know it was going to be the real f*****g thing. I’ve looked at that and thought oh my god, love BNP and all that at the end, they’ll, they’ll go f*****g mental.

Paul: No it’s just going to take, take the p**s big time.

Simon: Hmm. I, look I don’t think a lot of people will get the joke either (laughs).

Paul: (Giggles) People are going to be thinking what the f***s that doing up there.

Simon: Yeah exactly.

Paul: Nah, it, it, it’s just like Jim said. I, I kept saying No we can’t do it, it’s s**t, it’s b******s, you know the Plebs won’t understand it.

Simon: Hmmm.

Paul: But like Jim, Jim made a good point it, it’s not for the Plebs. It’s for all the um, it’s for all the media and the marmite and the, and the marketing and advertising people.

Simon: Hmm.

Paul: And the, anyone out there that is looking to f**k us up is going to go into overdrive to try and get marmite to do us on copyright.

Simon: Yeah.

Paul: When the real one goes out it’s just going to have that p**stake thing at the end.

Simon: Hmm.

Paul: You know what I mean.

Simon: Yeah.

Paul: Hopefully, it will trigger quite a lot of publicity. And then if it does trigger, trigger a lot of publicity, the amount of people actually watching the broadcast on Monday, will be big time increased wont it?

Simon: Yeah. Yeah, well it’s up to you mate, like I say I was just worried about that copyright thing, but if you’re comfortable with that?

Paul: I’ll check with Nick, I’ll double check with Nick, he’s got to have the final say hasn’t he.

Simon: Yeah.

Paul: So erm, I’ll double check with him quickly and I’ll ring you back yeah?

Simon: Ok mate.

Paul: Ok mate Speak to you in a bit.

Simon: Cheers buddy bye.

Transcript of Second conversation:-

Simon: Trying to do it now. I’m trying to upload the image. B****r that’s not working.

Paul: Yeah, I’ve just spoke to Nick, the lawyers have looked at it. They said run with it.

Simon: Right.

Paul: If we get any paperwork through we’ll just pull it and that’ll be the end of it.

Simon: Right ok. Alright mate I’m on it now.

Paul: Ta mate bye.

Simon: Cheers buddy bye.

They were alerting me to a hate mail campaign that had been conducted against me that had targeted every single residential and business address in my home town of Camelford and the surrounding areas.

The police informed me that they had been inundated with complaints from local residents that know myself and my family very well, and that these people were absolutely horrified that someone could do such a wicked and evil thing to us.

Both myself and my fiancee have also been inundated with calls, messages and visits of support from the community and this hate-mail campaign has not achieved what those behind it set out to achieve.

If you previously had any doubts that reform is needed with the BNP, then you may want to consider that this type of hate campaign could be bought onto anyone that dares to question the current leadership or refuse to “play ball” or “put up and shut up”. This includes you!

I will not bother to answer these “allegations” again. They have already been answered here.

It is obvious that the BNP “Truth” Chronicles hate-fest of a website is failing to have any impact, so they have extended the hate-fest by targeting my local community in the hope to break me, destroy my family and bring fear to my wife and children. They were even even sick enough to send this to my children’s school.

Make no mistake about it. This sick hate campaign will have been approved by Nick Griffin.

The British National Party’s call centre in Belfast is very popular with many ordinary members (especially the elderly or those living a long way from an active branch) who find it helps them keep in touch with the party. Many regular donors who phone up make a point of asking to speak to the same call centre worker each time.

The friendly personal touch was particularly noted during last winter’s bitter cold, when our call centre staff telephoned every single pensioner member to ask if they were alright or if they needed any help from a local party official.

As it happened, only a handful actually needed paths cleared of snow or shopping brought in over icy pavements (and got it done as a result of this central office partnership with activists on the ground), but several thousand hearts were warmed by the gesture and the friendly voices.

That’s great to hear, at last we have found a decent use for the call / support centre.

What is less well known is just how much ‘Belfast’ contributes financially to the well-being of the British National Party.

Brilliant news, show us the full accounts then. We are capable of making our own minds up on that score, but cannot do so when the accounts are with-held and all we have to go on is the word of proven liars.

With the BNP’s 2009 accounts now effectively complete, however, and with the accountancy systems now in place so that even current records can be extracted and analysed quickly and efficiently, we can reveal exclusively that the call centre has brought in to the party an amazing £359,000 in its first 15 months of operation.

Does this include the £300,000+ that the website raised which was processed by the Belfast Call Centre after the job was wrenched from a decent part-time paid activist and member who used to do the job for peanuts for the party?

With big peaks during the European and general elections, the average monthly income has been £26,330, at an average monthly running cost (including all set up costs, wages, line rentals, etc) of £8,000.

This means that, as well as providing the sense of belonging that is probably the key factor in reducing membership dropout, the Belfast call centre has already made the BNP a direct profit of £223,000.

So, given these facts, the overheads are running at around 30% for the call centre to raise £26k.

Funny then that the website raises £30-40k per month at a cost of under 10%. It seems to me that the call centre isn’t so profitable after all. Unless of course, the party and its members aren’t the ones making the profit.

Hmmm, now there’s a thought!

This even exceeds the estimate made by the Midas Consultancy in the feasibility study made before the decision was made to set it up.

Jim has never been very good with numbers has he? That’s the thing with Jim, he plucks numbers from thin air at random and then forgets what he said and contradicts himself later on. Watch this space for the proof.

So well done to Jim Dowson for guiding us through the immensely complicated task of sourcing the right technology and setting up the whole operation, and to all the staff who have worked so hard to make the call centre such a success.

Yes, well done to all the Griffin and Dowson family staff on your wonderful success. Your fathers must be proud.

As for Jim Dowson ” Guiding us through the immensely complicated task of sourcing the right technology”, Nick Griffin referred to Dowson as a Techno moron in court recently. I myself have recordings of Dowson admitting that he is hopelessly out of his depth when it comes to technology (watch this space).

Can we see the accounts now?

No wonder that Searchlight, and others who for various reasons wish the BNP no good, are so quick to ‘rubbish’ the call centre. No wonder that the gutter press in Northern Ireland runs so many sensationalist and dishonest stories attacking the people who have made it such a BNP success story.

Actually, the stories the press ran about Dowson and his dodgy past were totally true, hence why he hasn’t sued them. As for the success of the call centre, the spin don’t wash. Show us the accounts and let the members judge.

But now the facts are here for all to see, the suggestion that the call centre is some kind of burden on the party is exposed as ignorant or malicious propaganda, and the idea that this success should be shut down emerges as the proposal of a lunatic or a would-be saboteur.

We’ve not seen any facts. All we have been presented with is smoke, mirrors, spin and bullshit. Show us the FULL accounts. The propaganda is coming from BNP HQ.

So let’s leave the last word to the happy commonsense of Gwyneth B., one of the call centre’s regular donors who was told the good news by her usual call centre friendly voice, Marty: “It makes so many people like me feel like part of the BNP family. To know that it’s also making such a huge contribution to funds makes it even better.”

Since when has lying to, and fleecing good people been commonsense?

Decent, honest and gullible people such as Gwyneth B are just the kind of people the leadership prey on, rely on and ultimately shit upon.

It really is time for change. The time is NOW!

Honesty, Integrity and Transparency!

Let’s look again at this latest fund raising appeal;

Announcing the formation of the Campaigns Executive

Dear Fellow Patriot,

As any good boxer will know, you only really learn and gain experience from your defeats. Well, the BNP didn’t do too badly in the recent elections: we had a good showing in the General Election and a poor showing in the Local Elections.

It is a good thing that we can examine our performances in a mature way, learn from it, and plan to correct our failings. That’s what we are doing.

So what went wrong in the Local Elections? Well for a start, we were totally outclassed by the modern, efficient, high-tech electoral machine put in place by the old parties, especially Labour.

Labour hired the campaign experts Blue State Digital – the people that got Obama elected – to build a sophisticated national database system which allowed them to target their supporters with precision.

Thus a supporter concerned about crime got a leaflet about crime, and so on.

Plus, while BNP activists were trawling the streets knocking doors on polling day trying to get BNP voters to the polls, the Labour machine simply used their election call centres to ring their supporters repeatedly, something which saves a vast amount of time and effort.

Our previous election methods were highly advanced – five years ago – but are now unfit for purpose. We need to up our game and copy what the winners are doing…and that is what we plan to do.

Clive Jefferson has been appointed National Elections Officer, and has announced ambitious plans for our own nationwide database of supporters and for an election call centre. Clive has been tasked with winning elections once again, and he intends to do just that.

Paul Golding has been appointed National Communications Officer, and has put in place some impressive PR systems, including a database which gives us instant access to over 1 million journalists and media outlets worldwide.

Also created is the new Campaigns Executive, which includes key officers involved in media, design, IT, treasury, fundraising and elections, all together for the first time with the purpose of coordinating our electoral machine. The Campaigns Executive will meet for the first time in 2 weeks to lay the groundwork, well in advance, for next year’s elections.

Rather than the dis-jointed approach we had in previous times – something which has let us down quite frankly – the Campaigns Executive will constantly coordinate and marshal the entire Party for the purpose of winning elections.

And rather than our key officers being scattered nationwide, for the first time we will be utilising an existing office complex as an ‘Operations Centre’. This means that, just like the mainstream parties, come election time every key officer on the Campaigns Executive will converge on a single location and work together as a team in the same office for the duration of the campaign, providing real and instant leadership throughout.

Also based in the new Operations Centre will be our new Training Department, led by the experienced ex-military trainer Mike Howson.

Exciting stuff, and yes, a lot of work! We will bounce back from our recently electoral whipping by the Labour machine and astonish our enemies by our ability to recover, learn, organise and advance, as us Brits always do…that’s my promise.

So now we need ‘all hands on the pump’ to bring this bold and audacious plan to fruition. Everything is being overhauled, our media department, elections, IT, propaganda, and it is all being centralised and given purpose and direction. We have the officers, the plan, now we need your help….

Everyone is understandably worn out from the recent campaign, but the struggle must go on immediately. The enemies of our country never rest, and neither must we.

We urgently need your financial backing to establish the Operations Centre as soon as possible. We need to purchase desks, computers, new software packages, telephone systems, and a whole multitude of smaller items all the way down to standing clipboards, bins and maps.

It is an ambitious plan, but we cannot establish our new elections machine without your help, and this must be done immediately.

Thanks to you, we have already established highly efficient administration centres in Belfast and Nuneaton, and look at the huge benefits these operations have brought to the Party. Now we need to establish our political headquarters, bringing all the key officers together, in order to coordinate and centralise, to the highest standards, our elections winning machine.

It is only with your help that we can do this. If you can spare £100, £50, £20 or even £10 it will ALL help immensely. Once up and running, BNPtv will be dispatched to produce a video to show our supporters what has been achieved. All BNP members will also be able to visit the new Operations Centre and see our new machine in action.

This project is urgent. Unless we pick ourselves up from the recent electoral hard knocks then we will stumble where we are. That is not good enough, we must raise our game, so join me and the new Campaigns Executive team today and donate whatever is within your ability. My thanks in advance – watch out for an update very soon.

Yours sincerely,

Nick Griffin, MEP

The problem with all this is that it was never Jim Dowson or Nick Griffins’ idea at all. These systems have been what I have worked for two years to get implimented and built, but received no support whatsoever, and in actual fact was warned against doing it as it would interfere with Dowsons’ fund raising.

The truth of the matter was that Dowson was hideously out of his depth and felt threatened by a system he neither understood or could profit personally from (unless of course he controlled it).

Funny that, given the situation we all find ourselves in today, isn’t it? No doubt we will pay through the nose for this inspired idea of Dowsons’ and all the subsequent training he will provide via his “Training” business empire.

Readers may be interested in a website report I submitted to both Dowson and Griffin twelve months ago. The report can be downloaded here and evidence of its creation date can be seen below.

I am publishing this information not because I want to claim credit for the idea, but merely to highlight the fact that Jim Dowson is a fraud and not any kind of expert – in any field whatsoever.

Furthermore, the systems stated in this report can be put in place at minimal cost, not the ridiculous amounts being asked for in the recent begging letters.

In recent weeks we have witnessed a level of desperation from Nick Griffin, Jim Dowson and Arthur Kemp I would never have thought possible. We’ve seen some of the most ridiculous smear-jobs against good people that don’t even pretend to be supported by a shred of evidence and that have subsequently been torn to shreds fact and evidence-wise on this very website.

Then we’ve seen the flood of frantic public relation / spin videos and website posts pouring out from BNP HQ in another desperate attempt to paper over the ever increasing cracks within the leadership and membership in general. We are witnessing the absolute destruction and collapse of the party website in the hands of rank amateurs and money-merchants, exactly as I predicted would happen. Let’s not forget that Nick Griffin CHOSE to have me removed as webmaster in favour of Jim Dowson and Paul Golding (the industry experts).

The website is in serious danger of dropping below the 100,000 world ranking and probably will due to the fact that interest in the party is at an all time low thanks to inept leadership and a leader that has completely lost his sense of direction, morals and integrity.

We’ve seen the hard-core Griffinites joining general forums and blogs en-masse to shore up the failing support for the leadership.

We’ve seen mass suspensions, threats, intimidation, lies, smears, and now we are seeing yet more breaches of the data protections act with Paul Golding using members Emails addresses to distribute leadership lies in sheer desperation as no one is listening to them anymore.

What we are seeing defies belief and logic. It is almost sad to see the desperation of one man able and willing to destroy an entire political movement rather than relinquish his iron grip on it and its finances. It’s also sad to see those loyal to him rally round and attack anyone decent enough to take a stand for what’s right for the party and the long term future of nationalism. They do so not for nationalism or ‘the cause’ but for their own ends – their wage packet or their ‘position’.

These people are utter cowards of the highest order and the REAL traitors to the cause. They know in their hearts and their minds that they are witnessing a dictator losing his mind and his ability to command respect. They know, but they are not brave enough to make a stand for what is right.

Those that worked closely with me know where I stand and they will also know what I have done and continue to do is right. They have seen how hard I have worked and how hard I fought for the real cause and not that of Griffins or Dowsons personal agenda.

It’s time to stand up and be counted – you know who you are, and you’ve seen and read the lies being desperately pumped out against myself and Eddy. You’ll be next and deep down you know it, as Griffin demands loyalty but gives none in return. This is the ‘Griffin Show’ and you are as expendable as I was or the web presence that is now in a state of total collapse.

Your loyalty to Griffin serves only to destroy what you think you are fighting for. It’s time for change and the time is now!

I would relish the opportunity of debating these directly with Mr Dowson, but will pose these questions to his previous answers for the time being;

Lies, lies and more lies: these are the deluded ravings of the cranks, lunatics, and far-leftist collaborators against Jim Dowson.

The article below has been extracted from an email exchange between well-known internet crank Andrew Edwards (the same one against whom Eddy Butler warned) and Jim Dowson.

Lie #1: The “£1,000 Laptops”

Q: Why did the Party buy ten new laptops at a cost of £1,000 each from Jim Dowson (Adlorries Ltd)?

A: “The laptops were not bought from Adlorries. They were purchased from a large telecoms company in England called Datasharp.”

Why were the laptops sourced via Adlorries? I saw the delivery note / packing slip and it was clearly in the name of Adlorries Ltd.

Q: Why were these machines charged at £1,000 per unit when the price range for systems of this specification averaged between £299 and £399 each?

A: “I am unable to answer this question as I was not involved with their purchase of the laptops.

Yes you were, the packing slip and delivery note proves this. Can you publish the delivery note and all invoices online for us all to see.

“My involvement extended as far as putting party manager Emma Colgate into contact with Datasharp and was not involved any further with the procurement of the laptops.

“I never oversaw the deal and thus cannot say why the price was agreed upon by the party manager.

So it was Emma that ordered them in the name of Adlorries Ltd and also Emma that “beefed” them up to work on a network (comes as standard) at a 300% increase above retail price?

“However, I have no reason to doubt the probity and actions of Emma in this deal. The machines were customised and this may have played a role in their price.

Exactly how were they customised?. Please explain the additional £700 per laptop customisation. Were they diamond studded with solid state hard drives with 3D studio max pre-installed?

“I set up the initial contact and Emma took over the process and the mobile telephones and the other IT stuff. I do not think she acted in any other way than correctly.”

Oh, so mobile phones were involved too? That could explain the coincidence that these laptops were being given away for free with a mobile phone Internet dongle. Did we aquire ten dongles around that time too?

Q: The Operating System pre installed was XP even though Vista was then the standard OS then found pre-installed on most new machines – another reason for the charge being excessive. Dowson has claimed that specialist software that had been installed explained the £1,000 price tag. What was this software?

A: “As I have said, not really my department, but I believe that originally they were beefed up to handle a ‘cloud’ system linked to a central database for party security (which at the time was my recommendation) and some kind of integrated telephone system with our current party system.

Utter nonsense and you know it. As the saying goes; “If you can’t dazzle them with with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit”. All laptops have a Cat 5 Network port and networking card as standard. Whatever software you refer to would cost nowhere near an additional £700 per unit.

“Also, Vista is not a good system and most people hate it that’s why Microsoft has so rapidly replaced it. However, this is not and was not my department and contrary to Bennett’s allegations, I had nothing at all to do with their customisation or purchase authorisation. This question should be directed to the previous party manager.”

Rubbish, sounds like a cop-out to me.

Q: How can a profit margin seemingly in the order of 300% be justified?

A: “This is a bizarre statement. What profit and to whom? This question is based on a false assumption and nothing to do with me. I never received or sought a penny from this deal or any other deal.”

Can we see the accounts then? There is no denying that these laptops retail at £300 and we paid £1,000 each for them. Someone made a killing and the delivery note was in your company’s name.

Q: Why was it necessary for Emma Colgate to take delivery of these machines in a lay-by near Leeds, rather than via courier/parcel-force delivery?

A: “If a manager of a multi million pound telecom company is willing to accommodate our urgent requirements and saves us waiting on courier and is in the area, what’s the problem? Again, what’s this got to do with me and what is the issue? Are you implying some sort of impropriety by Emma or the company? I would take grave offence if this was the case. Datasharp is a large well known international corporation and their reputation is beyond reproach.

Emma was merely doing what was most cost and time effective. Where is the problem?”

That does not answer the question. Why not deliver to the Leeds Office – where we all were on the day?

Lie #4 “Threats”

Q: There is evidence that people who cross Mr Dowson are either bullied or threatened into silence, and if this doesn’t work, are forced out of the Party.

A: “On an occasion when Simon Bennett phoned my house at 1.30/ 2am repeatedly, obviously the worse for wear, screaming obscenities and waking up my family including my baby, I rebuked his threats to beat me up by rebuking him firmly for calling my house at such an hour and in such a disgraceful manner.

The facts show otherwise. Let’s re-examine them shall we (note the times were way before 2am as Jim claims);

PS : BLUFF, YOU WISH!

“Indeed, the opposite is true, especially regarding Bennett. He is on record threatening senior party officials including Eddy Butler, Mike Howson and Arthur Kemp in the most disgusting and alarming fashion.

I have never threatened Eddy Butler, show us the evidence. I did not threaten Mike Howson, I told him I would deal with him after the election. Arthur Kemp threatened me, I have the proof. I did not threaten him at all.

“It should be noted that in the past, as my firm set about restructuring, and professionalising the party, including implementing systems to ensure good stewardship of members money and financial prudence.

Not quite, you set about taking over the party for personal financial gain and fought anyone that objected or got rid of them.

“In my mission to professionalise this party, I have had knives pulled on me by a recently sacked party employee and had several violent threats made against me – including an alleged plot to murder me in Spain with my family.”

No smoke without fire is there?

Q: Assuming the above to be correct, how does this help the BNP image?

A: “It is not true so it is a ridiculous assumption which is a statement, not a question that renders the following ‘statement’ rather silly or vindictive.

I’m struggling to comprehend that one!

Q: Assuming the above to be correct, there would appear to be prima-facie evidence for those threatened to go to the police (certainly, if I was ever threatened in this way, it’s what I would do!) How would the resultant publicity assist the Party?”

A: “Anybody who has evidence of being threatened should not only go to the police but should report it to the leadership. I am confident that serious action would be taken immediately.”

Like it was reported with both yours and Arthurs’ threats?

Lie # 5 “Jim Dowson Controls the BNP”

Q: Doesn’t Mr. Dowson’s level of control over the BNP, along with a ‘colourful’ past history, make him a poor choice of ‘ally’ in the fight for Britain?”

A: This is yet another statement and not a real question, but I will address it as best as I can and go further to put people in the picture.

“Understand, Mr. Edwards, this is not UKIP, the BNP have real and powerful enemies who will stop at nothing to derail or hinder this party’s progress.

“If I were not doing a good job, Searchlight and the media would leave me well alone. I am universally despised by our enemies; contrast this with the glowing recommendation of Simon Bennett by Searchlight and Lancaster UAF, who portray him as the reforming angel.

Searchlight also attacked Mark Collet, but you state that Mark wasn’t doing a good job. You can’t have it both ways. They attack you because you are good and Mark because he is bad – where’s the logic in that? It’s a pathetic excuse. As for the “glowing recommendation” for me, that’s utter rubbish. Perhaps they have respect for me for being decent, honest and truthful. I suspect it’s horrible, nasty, lying filth like you they detest. I have no involvement with Searchlight or anyone else.

“It’s this simple even if one is not very bright: if the sworn enemies of British nationalism totally hate Dowson and are running hate stories weekly, you can safely say that I must be doing something that annoys or worries them.

I’d say they attack you for the same reason our own members do; You are filthy, lying, money grabbing scum.

“What control and says who? I understand the perceived problems with my past and try to keep out of the way as much as possible and almost have a 100% record on turning down requests for me to speak around the country.

Of course you do, you don’t want to be in the spotlight, just sitting in a quiet corner counting the cash whilst directing the party and pulling the strings.

“The reality is this; I came in when the party was in a bad way and had little or no chance to grow, staff wages were going unpaid and the party was teetering on the brink . . . fact.

The party was on the up and public were waking up to the BNP. You just jumped on the bandwagon and milked it dry. What you have done could have been achieved by a trained monkey. You write poor 1980 style begging letters, sell us mangled 2nd hand equipment from previous failed businesses, overcharge us for goods and services, remove good people that object and set up a network of offices with all assets in your own name.

“Through my international consultancy practice, we supplied our fundraising, administration, IT and data handling expertise to facilitate the growth and financial muscle needed to ensure the party’s survival then its growth and security.

Listen to you! You sound like Del-Boy… “International Consultancy Practice”! You have only just set up a company in Spain with the money you have fleeced from our members. You have no expertise – you’re a catering salesman – plain and simple. You have no experience in what you are undertaking and make it all up as you go along. The longer you do it the cockier you get and the more confident you become in the whole scam.

“This we have done. In 2007, the BNP had a £500,000 turnover. By 2009, the BNP had a £2.3 million turnover. That eclipses your old pals in UKIP by a country mile, Mr. Edwards.

Turnover means nothing – it’s profit that counts. Our profit is seats on councils and in parliament. How many have we now?

“The British National Party has just planned, executed and paid for, the two biggest election campaigns in its history in less than a year and unlike previous elections, fought off several very expensive legal attacks and yet remains free from any serious debt.

Of course we are debt free. We are also profit free, council free, MP free when we need to be Jim Dowson Free. You are making a fortune at our expense and what – just what have we got from your efforts? 5 offices and a few thousand new members? Big deal, it cost us £2.36 million.

“Note that in November 2007, I did the party a courtesy fundraiser that netted the party over £130,000 and since then I have directly, through my fundraising strategy, pulled in over £2.3 million pounds for the party, not to mention the hundreds of thousands saved by tightening up and implementing proper procurement systems.

As stated, what has the £2.3m done for us? You earned well from it though. Very well indeed – as did Nick with his MEP salary and pension.

“I am paid for the fund-raising, the rest is voluntary.

That’s a total lie. You also charge for Training via Midas and rent your villa / abortion mission in Spain to us, you charge all sorts of fees and expenses on top. That’s without the profit you made on the truth truck, print equipment and other junk you sold us. Who profited from the laptop scam?

“As an example: only this week, Alwyn Deacon asked me to sort out some logistical problems at the Nuneaton site. I spent one day there, had several business meetings with specialists and went home having saved the party directly about £20.000 pounds per year in postage and labour costs as well as cranking the party up another notch on the professional ladder.

I know you better than that. What you would have done is transferred the business to one of your own suppliers for a better deal, but also at a personal profit. You do nothing for free.

“I have been the number one target for the left for over a year. The newspapers, especially in Ulster run smear stories on me and my family almost weekly.

Poor you. You get paid very well though compared to the activists that have the same done to them and don’t get paid at all.

“Now I see so-called nationalists indulging in the same attacks, repeating almost word for word the propaganda churned out by the odious Gerry Gable and his Searchlight gang. He must be laughing his socks off.

“Not only is this disgraceful, it is unbelievable and disturbing that even good nationalists can be misled so easily and so blatantly.

“I have no desire to build a long term career with this party, but I will not be bullied, threatened or slandered into jumping ship just as we are beginning to see real progress in our structure, long term ambitions and financial security.

As I’ve always said. You have a short term plan – here you admit it. You know you will eventually come unstuck and get sussed out.

“The people asking these wholly vexatious questions, Mr. Edwards, will find that I am a patriot of the ‘old school’ variety and my word is my bond and I will continue to promote and progress the interests of this party without fear or favour, despite the personal cost…period!

“Finally, this is not the first time I have answered these types of questions. Why are the one asking them as you are not even a member of the party!

“I am amazed at the constant and sometimes ludicrous accusations put out about me. These normally are done in the third person or disguised as a question; all very sly.

“If I honestly believed half of this stuff was true about someone else, I would have no hesitation in standing up and putting my money where my mouth is.

You’re going to have to, I’ll make damn sure of that.

“Many of those behind this whispering campaign are good people, deceived by those whom I have caught acting against party interests, sabotaging and a whole raft of other horror stories that is best not put in the public domain for the sake of this party and the thousands of good and decent members, even if it would take the pressure off me personally.

“I take my responsibilities to my client, the party, my country and our beleaguered people, very seriously indeed and that is precisely why I will continue to do my level best to promote, protect and provide for them, despite the mounting cost to me, my family and my other business interest.

Just like you took your responsibilty as a vicar and anti-abortionist seriously.

“I haven’t begun to fight back yet because the party workload is just so enormous, but I will, and then the case will be much clearer and the liars, cranks, wrong-uns and internet warriors will at last have a real fight to keep their twisted minds occupied.

Yes you have. You have “threatened” me with legal action. Apparently I’m on notice. I’m quaking in my boots!

“I would also expect an apology for disseminating so much bile and hateful lies about me from those who seem to have no other purpose in life other than to attack the BNP.

“For, make no mistake, these attacks are not really about me. I’m only a pawn in a much bigger political game.

No mistake, they ARE about you and why the hell Nick Griffin unleashed you on the party.

“The plan is crystal clear to anyone with an ounce of common sense. If our enemies can so mistreat an outside professional contractor, they know that other business people, with much to offer this party, will never come forward to offer their services for fear of receiving the same kind of treatment that my company, colleagues and family have had to endure.

“This, as I am sure you know Mr. Edwards, is the real motivation behind these scurrilous attacks on me, my consultancy and my family. Let us be clear on this.

“This is why, even if I wanted to; I cannot allow the enemy to destroy the party’s future ability to engage professional services. Whatever the liars and anti-British scum throw at me, I will take it on the chin and carry on producing the results for the party that are so obviously worrying the forces who are hell-bent on destroying our ancient nation and everything we love and cherish.

“Compared to the sacrifices made for this country by previous generations, and those of our ‘blood’ the attacks on me are not that much of a burden to carry, and I remind myself that I must be doing something right when the reds and the malcontents and the cranks are all so viciously opposed to me.

I am hellbent on destroying nothing. I am hellbent on saving the party from destruction at the hands of greedy pigs and crooks such as yourself.

“There are worse things that happen at sea.

Yours sincerely

JD”

Name some!
